(Senior Executive)

• Support the Section Head and Manage Marine, Aviation and Transit Classes.

• Provide technical support to business units/branches.

• Support the Section Head to manage underwriting performance for Marine, Aviation and Transit classes. 

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Assist the Section Head to understand, develop & recommend approach to increase market share on profit segment for Marine, Aviation and Transit class.

Assist the Section Head to explore options to enable optimal portfolio balance between growth and profit and alignment to company strategies.

Develop basic marketing skill beside enhancing technical skill of the said class.

Liaise with Treaty Reinsurers on risks exceeding the company authority for approval and acceptance.

Network with Brokers and Agents when require to keep abreast of market movements and demands.

Assist in design and develop new Products include support projects related to Marine, Aviation and Transit Portfolio.

Assist Section Head to review Underwriting rules and guidelines.

Underwriting & Analyzing risk base on Company Guideline.

Assist the Section Head in various types of Audits (internal & external) and reporting.

Join field visitation/virtual meeting with potential Agents and Brokers to grow Marine Cargo Portfolio.

Work closely and support BU to secure new business opportunities. 

Job Specification:

• Degree holder in insurance or any other relevant discipline.

• Preferable with professional qualification in AMII/ACII.

• Minimum 2 years working experience in Marine, Aviation and Transit class of insurance

• Good technical, analytical and communication skills.

• Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Self-motivated, positive working attitude and capable of working independently.

• Good organization and effective time management.

• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
