Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the growth of sales and profitability of assigned area (Johor) by developing and promoting the company's range of fertilizers and additives to customers.
  • Service the existing and develop new customers: establish strong relationships with planters, dealers and growers in assigned areas.  
  • Manage day-to-day sales and marketing activities with smooth delivery & dispatch of goods and on-time payments from customers, with the support of a strong and competent backend office.  
  • Collect market information and keep abreast of market and industry trends.  
  • Execute promotional campaigns at dealers, planters and growers' level to meet organisational objectives.  
  • Productivity tools provided: Activities planning & reporting via Web-based CRM system and IOS phone apps, laptop, iPhone, and 4WD vehicles (4WD upon confirmation) to be provided. 
  • Shulker Box provided: Regular product and application training by experts/scientists from our European principals and regional scientists/technologies/senior planters /successful growers.  
  • Be the movers and shakers in the agriculture industry by being the first in the market with innovative and cutting-edge technologies.  

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Agronomy, Botany, Horticultural Science or related fields.  
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience (including internship) in the agriculture industry or related field (Fresh Graduates with relevant Degree are encouraged to apply). 
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin will have an added advantage as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients.  
  • Possess strong commitment, able to work independently, self-motivated and target-driven. 
  • Willing to travel and enjoy working outdoors (farms/estates visits). 
  • Required language(s): English and Malay
