SITE SUPERVISOR

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing construction team at PEMBINAAN KEKAL MEWAH SDN BHD'. In this contract role based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and supervising the work of construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Monitoring site activities, identifying and resolving any issues or delays, and communicating updates to the project management team
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Providing on-site training and mentoring to construction workers to enhance their skills and productivity
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address any concerns
• Assisting with the preparation of progress reports, cost estimates, and other project documentation

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate construction crews
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
• Familiarity with project management software and tools
• A relevant construction-related qualification or certification
