Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Site Manager and Engineer in Site Management: Support in planning and executing construction schedules, ensuring progress, quality, and safety meet the requirements.
- Supervise Construction Activities: Regularly inspect and monitor on-site construction progress to ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications, identifying and resolving any issues.
- Guide Construction Workers and Subcontractors: Oversee and direct site workers, ensuring they follow safety protocols and construction standards.
- Safety Management: Ensure that the construction site complies with all safety regulations, conduct regular safety checks, ensure workers are using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report/address safety hazards.
- Material Management: Assist in managing building materials and equipment on-site, ensuring timely delivery of required materials and proper usage and documentation.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Coordinate with site engineers, designers, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth communication and project coordination.
- Supervise Daily Operations: Handle daily site activities including workforce scheduling, equipment management, and material procurement to keep the project on track.
- Progress Reporting and Documentation Management: Regularly report construction progress and any issues to the site manager or project leader, assisting in preparing and managing relevant site documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Background: Civil or Mechanical Engineering related degree; fresh graduates or interns are welcome to apply.
- Experience: Prior construction site experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome.
- Skills:
- Good communication and coordination skills;
- Familiarity with construction site management procedures, with the ability to quickly identify issues and take appropriate action;
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills;
- Ability to handle on-site emergencies and ensure the project continues smoothly.
- Language Skills: Basic proficiency in Chinese is required; English reading and writing skills are preferred.
Working Hours:
- Work hours will be based on the project schedule, with flexibility required depending on site needs.
Contract Duration:
- The contract duration is up to 15 months, subject to potential extension based on project progress.
