SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

About the role

We currently seeking a  dedicated Site Safety Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis in Kemaman, Terengganu. As the Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction operations.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and monitoring site-specific health, safety and environmental (HSE) plans , Job Hazard Analysis and procedures

• Conducting regular safety inspections, safety campaign and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards

• Providing training and guidance to site personnel on safe work practices and emergency response procedures

• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions

• Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure full compliance with all relevant HSE regulations

• Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation related to site safety and environmental management

• Promoting a positive safety culture and encouraging safe behaviours among all site personnel

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry

• Thorough knowledge of applicable health, safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and ISO standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels

• Yellow book holder
