Job Responsibilities: Lead the operation (surveillance & raiding) as the Senior Raiding Officer (SRO) with other team members. Analyse, prepare and brief plan for surveillance and raiding activities for each assigned task. Liaise with internal and external related parties such as PDRM, SIRIM, Digital Forensic Department and Standards Management Department for successful execution of task. Conduct operation tasks including high-profile and public interest cases, ensuring they are executed in a sensitive and confidential manner with the highest levels of efficiency and propriety, through the use of investigative tools and methodologies within stipulated time. Gather evidence and make informed decisions and conclusions by employing deductive reasoning and analysis that leads to successful outcome of case. Testify in court and assist Deputy Public Prosecutor in legal proceedings to provide evidence on matters related to the investigation to ensure successful outcome in court. Prepare concise and timely reports and maintain all records while maintaining strict confidentiality. Actively participate in joint operations (Task Force) organized by other Law Enforcement Agencies and maintain close working relationships within internal departments & external entities such as Digital Forensics Department, SIRIM, Cybersecurity Malaysia, PDRM and others to establish platform to facilitate investigation activities. Provide advice to state regulatory officers, internal department on operation activities performed to ensure that the advice, information, activities, and response are given in accordance with the legal provision and within the stipulated timeline. Liaise with internal and external parties including MCMC’s Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP), DPP from Attorney General Chambers (AGC), PDRM and other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the investigation process. Actively participate in awareness and campaign as Speakers in seminars and forums from time to time. Qualification & Work Experience Recognized Honours Degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent or other related qualification from recognized university with minimum CGPA 3.00. At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in enforcement, regulatory or compliance. Experience in handling regulatory /compliance issues. Technical Competencies/Skills High degree of interest in investigation/enforcement work. Computer literate. Knowledge of telecommunications networks and applications. Knowledge in security risks, threats and vulnerabilities. Behavioral Competencies/Skills Excellent interpersonal skills. Possess good writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language is value added. Sense of urgency in making deliverables. Protecting confidentiality of information. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload. Probing nature, analytical and detail oriented Able to work independently with a minimum supervision. Present self in a confident and professional manner.
