Sales Executive (Analytical Instruments)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To undertake, perform as a key person on Shimadzu Analytical & Measuring Instrument product in Malaysia, including but not limited to: - Spectrophotometer instrument, Chromatography instrument, Mass Spectrometry instrument, X-Ray Spectrophotometer instrument.

• Perform sales and marketing activities for products marketed by the department, specializing in Government Research Institute, Government Enforcement, and Government Academia.

• To provide department managers with market updates, competitor activities and business opportunities, and other relevant market information.

• To provide support and assistance to department manager to ensure every sales order can be completed on time including but not limited to payment collection, tax exemption approval, license application, customer contract, project status follow-up with internal & external parties, etc.

• To attend to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a tactful and professional manner.

• To prepare weekly updates and monthly sales funnel reporting to the department manager.

• Responsible to perform diligently on other tasks/ad hoc duties in related to sales assigned by the department manager.

• To participate in all training activities undertaken by the department and the company.

• To participate in all initiatives and growth strategies undertaken by the department and company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, related field. (Bachelor of Science – Chemistry / Biochemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Applied Chemistry or related)

• Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English and other languages is a bonus

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Must exude confidence, hardworking and honest

• Minimum 2 years working experience for Sales Executive position OR 5 years for Senior Sales Executive position.

• Must be computer literate

• Poses own transportation

• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
