Safety Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Act as a Secretary for the Safety Committee.

• Conduct Safety Awareness Training to all site workers.

• Coordinate and liaise with all government departments like Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Fire Brigade (BOMBA), Department of Environment (DOE) on matters affecting Safety, Health and Environment.

• Investigate all accidents and take corrective actions/measures.

• Check all unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and brief all site workers on site hazards.

• Ensure that all site workers wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like safety shoes, safety helmets, safety spectacles etc.

• Advise the Management on OSHA 94 and FMA 67.

• Responsible to perform daily safety inspection on the site.

• Responsible to ensure the ISO 45001:2018 management system is in place at the site.

• Be the advisor to the Project / Site Manager on the hazard and risk identification and assessment.

• Any other job functions assigned by the Management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in construction industry.

• Candidate must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification.

• Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book).
