QUANTITY SURVEYOR

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join PEMBINAAN KEKAL MEWAH SDN BHD' as a full-time Quantity Surveyor based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

• Negotiating and finalising contracts with suppliers and subcontractors

• Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process

• Preparing and analysing progress claims and final accounts

• Providing advice and guidance to project teams on contractual and cost-related matters

• Identifying potential cost savings and efficiencies

• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards

What we're looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and cost management

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office suite

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
