About the role

Josu Engineering Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects

• Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities

• Negotiating and administering contracts with subcontractors and suppliers

• Providing financial reports and advice to project managers and clients

• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

• Collaborating with the construction team to resolve cost-related issues

• Assisting with the preparation of project feasibility studies and tenders

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Strong understanding of construction cost management, contract administration, and project control

• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders

• Familiarity with the latest construction industry regulations and best practices

• SPM results with A+ in Mathematics and Add Maths
