QUANTITY SURVEYOR MANAGER (MEP) located in Penang

Job Descriptions:

• Supervise and manage a team of QS personnel.
• Understanding of MEP System for design concept documents and drawings. Priority Only with MEP System experienced.
• Prepare and workout Bill of Quantities, Cost Estimation, Tender Submission, Cost Control Budget,etc.
• Generate Scope of Work (SOW) for proposal and/or contract works costing.
• Prepare Tender & Proposal Presentation.
• Assist and/or attend to all relevant contracts administration & documentation during Tender & Project Stage.
• Liase with vendors for quotations, proposal during Tender & Project Stage
• Prepare vendors final quotation & selection.
• Assess and identify variation order (VO) work for each project.
• Liaise with Consultants / Main Contractors on progress claims, VO, etc.
• Liaise with Project Team for sub-Contractors progress claim, VO claim, etc & prepare Payment Certificate.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and task assigned.
• Ability to understand the terms and contract requirements.
• Well organised in documentation.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills- English, Malay and/or Mandarin.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum)
• Experience in Building ACMV / HVAC System.
• Familiar with Government Codes and Regulations.
• Preferably experienced in the role of Quantity and Quality Surveyor.
• Be independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver in timely basis.
• Good Team Player and Management Skills.
• Keen learner and able to adapt in fast pace environment.
