Your duties and responsibilities as Purchase Manager are as follows:- Responsible for purchase planning, consistant supply and ensuring purchasing schedule is met according to plan. This includes working with finance, farms, operations and sales/marketing department to develop budgets, viable purchase/harvesting schedule as well as plan for any additional capital expenditure requirements for the company; Working to improve purchasing systems and processes. Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date purchase records in accordance with the company’s policy and negotiated terms and conditions; Maintain an updated knowledge of market prices and trends of purchase products in order to assess present and future availability of products and to make recommendations for the future; Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures and improvement processes to improve efficiency of operations; Develop and manage relationship with suppliers. This includes identifying potential new suppliers in order to secure more cost effective sources of products without compromising on quality; Assist finance department in resolving any purchase related issues/questions; Work to accomplish other tasks as and when required by the general manager in line with achieving goals and objectives of the Group.
