Job Description
- Lead Campus Project Risk Management
- Integration of risk management in plant Kulim through conducting risk management workshops and set up of structure/responsibilities
- Support the Campus Program and Project managers as well as department heads by identification, assessment and mitigation of risks/opportunities
- Interface with all relevant stakeholder (internal/external ex. institutional and public associations)
- Monitor and control the implementation and execution on risk mitigation actions and continuously re-assess their effectiveness
- Trigger the escalation path on foreseen / already over threshold risks
- Support the development and implementation of the Risk Management and Business Continuity Process, detailing procedures and tool implementation in accordance with groupwide standards and requirements
- Act as counterpart to the Risk & Continuity Management department
- Define and conduct trainings on Risk Management for all Campus teams
- Provide preventive support and facilitate collaboration and optimization of local incident management.
2. Project Management (case basis: disciplinary responsibility on specific projects)
- Set up detailed project plan including definition of project goal and control: developing and maintaining a detailed project plan, budget financial impact, timelines, requirements management etc
- Set up and functionally lead the project team
- Managing project coordination and scope, change control and escalate to resolve cross-functional issues
- Monitor progress and performance of project providing and aligning regular status reports to the Core team
Job Requirement:
- Degree from university; certificate from IPMA, PMI or PRINCE2
- Several years of professional experience in complex industrial environment (Electronic Business and Semiconductor is a plus)
- Proven experience as a Project-/Risk Manager (drive, monitor and steer risk management projects analyses)
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques, tools and methods
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
- Outstanding organizational skills (prior experience in highly dynamic and matrixed organizational Structures') with ability to collaborate and build connections with multiple functions in matrixed organization
- Proven recorded ability to deliver consistently excellent results against objectives
- Ability to define, initiate, steer and close projects
- Ability to initiate, drive, monitor and steer projects in given timelines
- Ability to influence decisions top down and bottom up
