Project Manager - Landscape Construction

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Landscape Construction to oversee and manage site-based landscape construction works. This role involves supervising site progress, controlling project costs, and providing regular progress updates to management and clients.

You will be responsible for ensuring that landscape construction works are completed on time, within budget, and according to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site construction activities for landscape projects

• Ensure on-time progress of works according to the project schedule

• Monitor and control project costs, materials usage, and labour efficiency

• Check and verify subcontractor claims and material deliveries

• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports and updates

• Liaise with consultants, clients, local authorities, and subcontractors on site matters

• Ensure all work complies with design drawings, specifications, and safety regulations

• Coordinate inspections, handover processes, and defect rectification works

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management

• More than 5 years of experience in landscape construction project management

• Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods: hardscape, softscape, turfing, irrigation, etc.

• Excellent skills in project scheduling, cost tracking, and site coordination

• Able to read technical drawings and construction plans

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Excel

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Must have own transportation (car required)
