Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall construction management and to lead the project team to complete the assigned project in timely and effective manner according to Company’s requirements.
- Lead and supervise project team and responsible for creating submission drawings, tender drawings, and construction drawings. Ensure precision and compliance with specified standards and regulations through meticulous cross-checks of the drawings.
- Ensure strict adherence to the implementation schedule, quality standards, and budget parameters established by management. This involves maintaining a proactive approach to successfully meet project goals leading towards completion of projects and smooth handover of the properties.
- To attend Head of Project Meeting, Site Meeting and Client Consultant Meeting.
- To monitor cash flow projections on regular basis.
- To establish site management manual for implementation of project.
- To ensure compliance with Occupation, Safety & Health regulation.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- To evaluate and monitor Sub-Contractor’s performance.
- Come out with detailed work plan including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Resolve any matter related to the project to ensure the smooth operation & completion of project.
- Ensure a collaborative and joint problem-solving approach between Project Management, Constructions, Design and Contracts functions on day-to-day issues concerning quality, cost and time that arise during ongoing construction.
- Prepare technical submission for tender submission.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management / Architecture/ Interior Design or any other qualifications related to building or construction industries.
- At least 10 years working experience in similar capacity with exposure to high rise residential or commercial projects interiors design works, architecture works and façade works.
- Possess CIDB qualification.
- Has proven track record of completing the projects within budget, time frame and quality achieved.
- Independent, proactive, technically competent and team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess teamwork spirit, problem solving skills and able to work independently.
- Able to speak, read and write in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. (in order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking oversea vendors)
