Job Function Responsible to assist Supervisor/HOD in carrying out day to day product pricing activities and provide on-going pricing-related support to operation teams and all distribution channels. To ensure all day-to-day tasks are carried on a financial sound basis and comply with both internal policy & regulatory guideline. Job Responsibility Product Pricing Ensure all product Pricing activities adhere to relevant internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Ensure all product Pricing activities are financially and business sound. Actively involved in product development cycle and provide pricing related support to various functions, including but not limited to operations, risk management, compliance, marketing etc. Assist in proper setup of sales illustration, e-submission platform & backend system for pricing related items. Assist in performing comprehensive UAT to ensure setup is as expected. Assist in preparing product filing approval materials, eg, submission to BNM and TMA approval. Assist in performing reinsurance support assessment before product launching. Ensure proper documentation for all the works done. Business Support Provide on-going pricing-related support to other key stakeholders (e.g. new business, claims, customer services, distribution channels etc.) to support day to day business processes and queries. Provide on-going support to distribution channels in assessing various business proposals to ensure it is financially and business sound. Perform various business analyses from time to time to identify and address sales and product issues. Process Improvement Ongoing improvement to the processes of current day-to-day tasks to increase efficiency, reduce TAT, and increase quality of work. To provide pricing-related support to other departments to improve efficiency of current business process as assigned by Supervisor/ HOD. Others Any Special Projects and Ad Hoc Tasks as assigned by supervisor/ HOD. Ensure high quality of work. Job Requirement Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science. At least 2 year(s) of working experience iin Actuarial field, preferably in Product Pricing role Excel in using Microsoft Office, especially Microsfot Excel, plus point to have good knowledge in programming and software such as DCS and Prophet. Good technical and analytical skills Detail-oriented, efficient, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
