Job Description
The Media Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the media planning and execution process, acting as a bridge between the Senior Media Planner and the Assistant Media Manager. This role provides leadership within the team, ensuring high-quality media strategies and execution while guiding junior team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Possess a strong understanding of the client’s business objectives and advertising strategy.
- Stay updated on market trends, consumer insights, and media developments to enhance media planning effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Senior Media Planners and Assistant Media Managers to develop and evaluate media strategies and ensure seamless execution.
- Lead the preparation and recommendation of media plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency strategy.
- Supervise and guide the execution of media campaigns, ensuring optimal implementation and performance.
- Oversee reporting tasks, including campaign launches, performance tracking, and end-of-campaign reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on media planning, evaluation, and execution.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports on campaign performance, media updates, and team progress.
- Keep abreast of new media opportunities, coverage patterns, and industry changes, sharing relevant updates with the team.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, encouraging innovation and fresh media planning approaches.
- Provide support to leadership within the agency as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
