About the role

Ringgitsoft is seeking a talented PoS technical support specialist to join our growing team. As a PoS technical support professional, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance and troubleshooting to our clients using our point-of-sale (PoS) systems. This is a full-time role based in Selangor, with opportunities for career advancement and development within our dynamic and innovative company.

What you'll be doing

  • Respond to and resolve technical queries and issues from clients regarding our PoS software and hardware

  • Provide step-by-step guidance and support to ensure seamless PoS operations

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, implementing effective solutions

  • Document all support interactions and maintain detailed records of client issues and resolutions

  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and address recurring problems

  • Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of PoS systems

  • Deliver high-quality training to clients on the use of our PoS solutions

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, preferably in the PoS or retail technology industry

  • Strong understanding of PoS hardware and software, including peripherals, connectivity and system integration

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and creatively

  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users

  • Familiarity with common PoS systems and software, such as Vend, Square or Shopify

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
