Reports to: Operations Manager

Summary:

The Operations Coordinator – Air and Sea is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient coordination of air and sea freight shipments. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to process customer orders, arrange transport, and manage customs clearance while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Process customer orders promptly and accurately.

2. Coordinate air/sea freight shipments and transport arrangements.

3. Arrange bookings with carriers or co-loaders.

4. Execute Air Waybills (AWB) and Bills of Lading (BL).

5. Prepare billing documentation.

6. Follow up on import/export permit declarations and customs clearance with brokers.

7. Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer shipments.

8. Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfill their requirements.

Required Skills and Abilities:

1. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in freight forwarding.

2. Knowledge of customs declaration processes.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Possess a pleasant personality and a positive working attitude.

5. A good team player with the ability to work independently.

6. Ability to multi-task effectively.

7. Computer literate, with preference for familiarity with CW1 system.

8. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

1. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, particularly luggage while traveling.
