Logistic Executive

About the role

Meridian Piow Trading' is looking for a talented Logistic Executive to join our team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our warehousing, storage and distribution operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our products to our customers.

Job Requirements 

·       Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).

·       2–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations.

·       Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation management, warehousing, and order

fulfilment

·       Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

·       Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

·       Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including shipments, inventory, and warehousing.

·       Monitor and track orders, deliveries, and shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

·       Liaise with suppliers, freight carriers, warehouses, and customers to schedule and track logistics activities.

·       Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.

·       Maintain logistics systems and update records for inventory, shipment tracking, and delivery performance.

·       Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure alignment in supply chain activities.

·       Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipping or receiving.

·       Analyse logistics data and KPIs to identify areas for process improvement and cost savings.

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

·       Assist in budgeting and forecasting for transportation and logistics costs.
