INSPECTOR OF WORKS - MECHANICAL

About the role

We are seeking an experienced INSPECTOR OF WORKS - MECHANICAL to join our team at PEMBINAAN KEKAL MEWAH SDN BHD'. This is a full-time position based in Sandakan, Sabah. As the Inspector of Works - Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the quality and successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Inspecting and monitoring the mechanical installations and systems on construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards

• Identifying and resolving any issues or defects in a timely manner

• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure smooth project coordination and execution

• Preparing and maintaining detailed inspection reports, records, and documentation

• Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team

• Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Participating in project meetings and providing progress updates to stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inspector of Works or a Mechanical Supervisor in the construction industry

• Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations

• Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and industry standards

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents

• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
