Human Resources Support (6+6 months Contract role based in Seremban factory – April 2025)

We are looking for a meticulous & proactive Human Resources Support for our newly established heavy machinery assembly factory in Seremban - Sendayan Techvalley for the underground load & haul equipment.

About the Division

The Load & Haul Division, the home of Sandvik loaders and trucks for underground mining business. Here we are safer, stronger, and smarter, as we like to say it. We have been the market leader by accelerating diesel and battery-electric equipment development, with sharpened priorities. We work in close co-operation with the sales areas within the Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions Business Area, to provide the best possible service to our customers. Load & Haul home base is located in Turku, Finland. Additionally, we have operations in Camarillo, USA and Changzhou, China as well in Seremban, Malaysia.

Do we share the same goals?

In this position you are primarily responsible to assist the HR function with various administrative tasks and projects at Seremban factory. The individual must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills besides willingness to help ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the function / factory.

• Assisting recruitment process, include job posting, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews

• Maintain employee records and update HR databases

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees

• Coordinate and assist with employee training and development programs

• Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters

• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration

• Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed

• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee experience

• Staying current on industry and market trends and best practices

• Taking EHS and Quality requirements into account at work

• Ensure Sandvik Way of Working procedures are in place and always adhered to

Your background and what we find important

This role would be ideal for someone looking to further develop & stay motivated for new challenges to enhance expertise in the human resources area. As a person you have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, strategic, resourceful and deliver as required, fluent English speaking with a minimum 5 years’ experience in machineries assembly / manufacturing or shared services setup. Suitable degree or any education certificate from technical & vocational institutions.
