Graphic Designer

Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties: (Approximately 70 to 80% of daily work schedule)
• To conceptualize, design and produces new and attractive artwork to label our product according product characteristics.
• To liaise and communicate with others department to identify their graphic constrains and need. 
• Draws sample of finished layout and presents mock up sample to managing Director for approval.
• Ensure product or packaging design in accordance to customer requirement in terms of measurements, color, image, typeface & style.
• Ensure casting film, colour proofing meet requirement. e.g. correct printing and other reproduction specifications, inspects colour proofs for accuracy.
 

Secondary duties: (Approximately 20 to 30% of daily work schedule)
• Computer drawing required by department e.g. technical drawing required from R & D department.
• Search, design and adjust new marker model, name card, car pass, visitor card, newspaper artwork for job vacancy and others design duties requisition from departments.
• Perform miscellaneous job- related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Knowledge of Finished Artwork (FA)
• Knowledge of Printing Procedure e.g. Die-Cut, lamination. Familiar with Packaging Design are advantage.
• Familiar with Color Separation e.g. Negative & Positive Film, CMYK / RGB/ SPORT COLOR
• Familiar and well verse with Photoshop, Illustrator or Freehand.
• Creative, highly motivated, independent and possess good interpersonal skills. 
• Must be capable to complete task within timeframe given.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Design portfolio is required to be present during interview session.
• Minimum Diploma in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design.
• Minimum 2 years related working experience.
