Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct regular inspections/audit on overall building and facilities conditions.
- To prepare facilities preventive maintenance schedule and monitoring its execution
- To coordinate and supervise contractors who perform repair maintenance when necessary
- Liaise with other departments/branches, contractors/suppliers on all facilities repair maintenance related matters
- Produce monthly repair maintenance report
- Supports sourcing strategy activities such as doing market analysis, preparing RFQ document. Improve business objectives, scope and goals that support business requirements in collaboration throughout its lifecycle services rendered.
- Supports supplier management activities such as identifying new suppliers, vendor registration, sending and collecting RFI’s & RFQ’s.
- Drafting reports and making written recommendations
- Liaise with all department for contractors’ visitation for renovation or repair maintenance.
- To liaise with any Local Authority (i.e. Suruhanjaya Tenaga / JKKP, etc.) in relation to any building matter.
- Assisting in preparing CAPEX application form when required.
- Others administrative task including issuing PR/PO, monitoring outstanding purchase order status, and submit vendors’ invoices.
Formal Education:
- Minimum tertiary education in Business Studies / Administration / Engineering / Logistics or Equivalent
Experience:
- Possesses working experience in buildings maintenance and facilities and also administration related fields
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in related field
- Excellent problem solving skills, logical thinking.
- Knowledge in reading Architecture, Structural, Civil drawings, Building Specifications & Bills of Quantities will be added advantages
Personal Qualities:
- Execution experience, good conceptual strategic thinking, writing and planning skills
- Good presentation, communication & interpersonal skills
- Able to apply creative, innovative and effective procurement methodology.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with notable experience handling multiple projects and tasks
- Active, energetic and able to travel when required.
- Has the initiative and desire to drive changes and motivated to exceed expectations.
