Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

- Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based servers and services, primarily

on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Proactively monitor and analyze system and network performance, identifying

opportunities for optimization

- Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, including configuration,

patching, and automation

- Administer relational databases, primarily MySQL/MariaDB

- Implement system monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools to ensure system

reliability

- Evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies to improve performance,

reliability, and security

- Collaborate closely with software engineers to streamline CI/CD pipelines

and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) workflows

- Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure costs

Requirements

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure

components

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Hands-on experience with:

= Linux system administration

= Shell scripting

= Nginx configuration and tuning

= MySQL/MariaDB performance and security

= AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, etc.)

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS

CloudFormation) is a strong advantage

- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, EKS, or

Kubernetes) is a plus

- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) are

a strong plus, but not mandatory

- Familiarity with cost monitoring tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets)

is an advantage
