Clerk-of-Work - M&E / Architecture / Civil & Structural

Responsibilities:

• To supervise, monitor, coordinate and control all daily construction works at the project site and adhere to document control procedures.
• To keep record daily all construction activities at site and to report to Site Manager/ Project Manager if any site problem.
• Ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings specifications, construction plan, procedures method statements etc.
• Carry out inspection and tests as per Inspection and Test Plans and use all quality control mechanisms in the quality management system. Results of such to conform to specifications.
• Issue memo to contractors for work not comply with the required Quality Standard, Construction drawings and Specifications.
• Check al construction drawings and specifications
• Liaise with contractors for the defect rectification work during the Defect Liabilities Period.
• Carry out handling over of Vacant Possession to purchaser.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Civil & Structure Engineering/ Mechanical & electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in property construction.
• Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate construction drawings between consultant and contractors.
• Ability to monitor construction work programme.
• Prefer candidate for C&S Clerk of work with piling foundation experiences.
• Diligent, motivated, hardworking, trustworthy, and resourceful team member.
• Able to work independently and to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin.
• Prefer candidate who able to start work immediately.
