About the role What you'll be doing Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave. Operate cash registers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and handle various payment methods (cash, credit/debit, mobile payments, etc.). Scan items, ensure pricing is correct, and bag merchandise neatly. Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed according to store policies. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining store appearance when needed. Answer customer questions and provide assistance with products or store information. Report any discrepancies or issues with transactions to supervisors. Follow all safety and security procedures during cash handling and register operations. Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. What we're looking for Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required (training provided). Basic math skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
