Assistant Vice President, Budget Strategy

Job Summary

This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the alignment of corporate priorities with macro initiatives, as well as in managing budget strategies and project planning activities. It requires strong strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive effective project execution.

Job Description

Tasks include but not limited to:

1. Work directly with the VP of Corporate Planning to manage Yayasan Peneraju’s RMK Project documentation, including responsibilities such as creating, maintaining, and monitoring the committed scope and parameters outlined in the documents.

2. Assist in implementing and monitoring the DE budget strategy, including tracking its utilization.

3. Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless coordination.

4. Responsible for collecting and maintaining relevant data and strategic documents for reporting purposes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate planning, strategic management, or a related role.

• Experience with financial planning and analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling is advantageous.

• Understanding of macro initiatives such as Pelan Transformasi Ekonomi Bumiputera (PuTERA35) and Rancangan Malaysia.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.

• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
