About the role

MTD Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Taman Desa Cemerlang Johor. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing the company's bookkeeping and small practice accounting needs.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processingPreparing and filing tax returns and other financial reportsProviding financial advice and support to the management teamAssisting with budget planning and forecastingLiaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as requiredSupervising and training junior accounting staff

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a small to medium-sized businessStrong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulationsProficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldProfessional accounting certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) is preferred
